Itinerary
- Your experience begins with pick-up from your hotel in Ica and transfer to the local airfield (either Ica or Nazca, depending on flight availability and weather conditions). Upon arrival at the airport, you will complete the registration and check-in process before attending a brief but important safety orientation provided by aviation staff. Passengers are weighed in accordance with aviation regulations to ensure proper aircraft balance, and boarding arrangements are organized for a smooth departure.
- You will then board a small Cessna-type aircraft specially designed for scenic overflights of the Nazca Lines. Each passenger is guaranteed a window seat, allowing for unobstructed views of the desert below. Once airborne, the aircraft heads toward the vast Nazca plains, where some of the world’s most mysterious geoglyphs stretch across the arid landscape.
- The flight lasts approximately 30–35 minutes, during which you will clearly observe some of the most iconic figures etched into the earth more than 1,500 years ago. Among them are The Monkey, The Hummingbird, The Spider, The Condor, The Astronaut, The Dog, as well as The Tree and The Hands, in addition to numerous geometric lines and enormous trapezoids that extend across the desert floor. The pilot will announce each figure as it comes into view and gently circle around it to ensure optimal visibility and excellent photo opportunities from both sides of the aircraft.
- After completing the overflight, you will return to the airfield, where you will receive a personalized flight certificate as a commemorative souvenir of this extraordinary adventure. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Ica, concluding a truly unforgettable encounter with one of the world’s greatest archaeological mysteries.
