Your day of exploration kicks off early as you depart Cusco around 3 am, heading to the charming village of Ollantaytambo nestled in the Sacred Valley. From there, you’ll board a train bound for Aguas Calientes, treating yourself to a visually stunning journey that unfolds over nearly 2 hours.

Upon reaching Aguas Calientes, a scenic bus ride takes you up to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu, where a knowledgeable guide awaits to lead you through a comprehensive tour of the site, delving into the fascinating history of the Inca civilization. Highlights of the ruins are explored during this two-hour guided experience.

Following the guided tour, you’ll have the opportunity to venture on your own, especially if you’ve booked an additional hike like Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain. Explore hidden gems such as the Inca Bridge and the Sun Gate, adding your personal touch to the adventure.

In the afternoon, descend to Aguas Calientes town by bus and board the train back to Ollantaytambo. Your return journey to Cusco is seamlessly facilitated by a private van awaiting your arrival. Please note that this itinerary is subject to change due to factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions, strikes, roadblocks, or unforeseen events.
