A scenic 3-hour drive awaits, guiding you to the picturesque Pacchanta, situated at an elevation of 4200 meters above sea level, passing through the quaint Tinke village. It’s noteworthy that temperatures in this region are cooler than those in Cusco itself.
Upon reaching Pacchanta, our skilled trekking chef will craft a delightful hot breakfast for you, adhering to stringent safety protocols to guarantee the well-being of all participants. Following breakfast and a brief respite, our expedition will set forth towards the mesmerizing lakes of the Ausangate region.
The approximately 5-hour hike will lead you along a scenic path, unveiling the beauty of Azulcocha, Otorongo, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, and Q’omercocha lakes.
