Enhance your adventure with an optional extension to the Q’eswachaka Rope Bridge for an additional $30 USD per person. Immerse yourself in history as you explore the last remaining Inca handwoven rope bridge, a testament to the ingenuity of the Incan road system.
Fashioned from woven grass, this remarkable bridge stretches 124 feet across and hangs suspended 60 feet above the rushing waters of the Apurímac canyon. Incan women meticulously braided small, thin ropes, which were then skillfully woven by men into substantial support cables. These handwoven bridges, a tradition upheld for over 500 years, held immense significance in the Inca culture.
Feel free to inquire about adding this unique tour to the Q’eswachaka rope bridge to your itinerary (additional charges apply). Please be aware that opting for this extension will adjust your pickup time to 4:00 am and the drop-off time to 8:00 pm, deviating from the original 5:00 am to 5:00 pm schedule. Additionally, due to time constraints, a box lunch will be provided if you choose this extension.
